Launched a Safe Schools Initiative to help prevent violence and disruption in schools. It includes the Zero Tolerance for Guns Act and alternative programs to help keep disruptive or violent students enrolled in an education program.
It also includes intervention guides for school officials and a tip sheet to help parents and teachers identify and deal with the warning signs of potential violence.
