Supports the death penalty

As Nebraska Attorney, Stenberg argued that the state's supreme court should send a retarded, three-time convicted murderer to the electric chair. The high court rejected request to reinstate Clarence Victor's death penalty. Stenberg had argued that a 1998 law that removed Victor from death row was unconstitutional.
