One-gun-per-month limit; plus required safety test
Davis' accomplishments include:
A childproof safety lock requirement on all firearms sold or manufactured in California.
A one-per-month limit on the number of handguns an individual can purchase.
An Executive Order prohibiting state
agencies from selling or transferring guns, taking California out of the gun business.
A Handgun Safety Certificate which requires all purchasers of handguns to pass a written test and demonstrate "safe handling" of a firearm.
