Jeff Sessions: American military is best fighting force in the world

[Opponent Tommy] Tuberville said China has a "better military" than the United States. "We've got China that's got a better military, and things, than we have."

Sessions responded: "Mr. Tuberville should immediately apologize," Sessions said. "His views further prove that he's not fit to be a United States Senator. His comments are an affront to the thousands of American military members who constitute the best fighting force the world has ever known."

Doug Jones: Impeachment warranted if withheld Ukraine aid helped Russia

If a president is using his office against a country that is dependent upon the United States of America, and he's doing that to withhold aid that is there to battle Russians that is a serious, serious matter. I'm trying to see if the dots get connected. If that is the case, then I think it's a serious matter. I think it's an impeachable matter. But if those dots aren't connected and there are other explanations that I think are consistent with innocence, I will go that way too.

Steve Carlson: Pull out of the United Nations

I agree with Trump on pulling out of the United Nations and their activities regulating national economies centrally. [On climate change], I want to see MUCH more science on the actual linkages we observe between small measured changes and specific changes in the climate. It appears small changes in water temperature, may raise the water levels on the seashores. This does not mean we subordinate our economy to the United Nations.
