State of Arizona secondary Archives: on Abortion

Debbie Lesko: Life begins at conception and must be protected

I'm a strong believer that life begins at conception and we must protect the most vulnerable among us. Because of my strong pro-life record, I am the only CD8 candidate to be endorsed by the Susan B. Anthony List, a important national pro-life organization and I have consistently been endorsed by Arizona Right to Life, have a 100% rating with the Center for Arizona Policy and been named "Friend of the Family" by the Arizona Family Project.

Frank Riggs: Conscience clause for businesses: don't mandate abortion

I do support and would sign 'conscience clause' legislation allowing a business owner or medical provider to refuse to provide abortion-related services, as mandated by ObamaCare, based on moral and religious beliefs.

Frank Riggs: I believe in the sanctity of life

I believe in the sanctity of life and the dignity and worth of every person. I will fight for working and middle class families, and the needs of Main Street, not Wall Street. I will listen to the hopes and concerns, and the ideas and advice, of Arizonans of all walks of life and in all 15 counties of our state. I will be an open, accessible and visible governor, and a servant leader of the people, just as I was as a Congressman who conducted hundreds of town hall meetings.
