Tax consumption, not productivity; end the income tax

A: NO. Excise taxes and Tariffs are in the Constitution. They should be used carefully. If taxes are needed, they should be on consumption not productivity. A point of use tax on goods, not service and not food or medical supplies is the most equitable way to fund government services. Used goods under a certain value should be exempt from such a use tax.

Shift to a consumption tax at point of use on new goods and high end used items. Not a VAT. We need to know exactly how much tax we pay. Permanently end any income tax with no chance to revive it.
